  Fabulous. You can relax on the balcony. Plenty of eating places close by or go whale watching.RSL Club a walk away. Best spot in Hervey Bay.

  All very nice but minimalist customer service is a big let down... first time in 27 years I haven't had my bed made upon my return from a hard day's work... I don't believe in paying an extra $11 for the basic service... not sure whether I will be recommending this place to my 3000+ person workforce. ..who wins? Ok for budget airlines like tiger to toe that line... but cheap shot from mantra from my personal point of view...

  Outdated rooms. Received room key. Went to out room stunk as if someone just smoked a packet of cigarettes. Told front reception and their response was "nothing we can do about it". Rooms are old and outdated definitely time for a renovation and a staff turn over.

  We have stayed here previously and it's a lovely spot for the tariff, but this time it lost it's magic. The room was to a clean and tidy standard. Unfortunately the café next door decided to chainsaw a plant out of the garden on the Sunday afternoon invading our serenity with noise and the smell of 2 stroke fuel through the unit. 3 days after check out we are still yet to have the security deposit returned to our account. Sorry, We won't be returning to a Mantra group hotel due to admin policies.

  Was lucky enough to have a room with a lovely view of the marina & across to Fraser Island. No free WiFi though which should be a given these days. Cleanliness was a little iffy. Water pipes in shower sounded like a hammer when turning the tap. Couch was very uncomfortable. Could do with a little updating.
